Successful entrepreneurs have a good fit between what they wish to derive from the business and what the business requires of them. Even though established businesses and larger organisations have stronger positions than smaller entrepreneurs, these entrepreneurs can and do take on the competition. These entrepreneurs manage to identify opportunities and turn them into viable business ventures.
Some questions to ask are:
Does the opportunity fit in with the aspirations and lifestyle of the founding entrepreneur?
How risky is the opportunity? Too much risk will destroy the venture and the entrepreneur’s reputation.
How stressful is the opportunity? If the opportunity proves more than a headache then it might just not be worth it.
