It is important for a business to have a management team that possesses proven experience in the chosen industry. Usually, when an unattractive, low-potential venture is examined, it is found that it does not have complementary teams. The team should display qualities such as preparedness to work hard, honesty, commitment to excellence, focus, creativity, innovativeness, determination etc.
Some questions to ask are:
How experienced are your managers?
Do they represent a competitive advantage?
How do you rate their commitment and motivation?
How much is their experience in the industry?
What is their level of technical expertise?
How entrepreneurial is the management?
Are they people of integrity?
Are they intellectually honest? That is, are they aware of what they know or do not know regarding the business?
